Founder and CEO Al Glaeser has over 30 years of experience supporting a variety of Government clients within DoD and the Federal Law Enforcement community, as well as work within the commercial IT market while employed at Intel and Microsoft Corporations. He is a Certified Scrum Master (CSM), Project Management Professional (PMP), and Certified ISO 9001:2015 Internal Auditor. Mr. Glaeser holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering from the United States Military Academy at West Point, an MBA in Technology Management, and a certification in Program Management from Stanford University.
Mr. Glaeser served our nation in the US Army Corps of Engineers. He was assigned to a corps combat engineer brigade in Germany where he served as a Platoon Leader, Battalion Training Officer, and Company Executive Officer. In his final assignment, Mr. Glaeser taught Project Management as the subject matter expert at the US Army Engineer School. Mr. Glaeser received an honorable discharge in 1991.
Mr. Glaeser started his career in the private sector in 1991 with Mobil Oil Corporation. Mr. Glaeser rose to Regional Engineering Manager over the span of eight years. He led the Mobil Oil effort to design and develop a comprehensive information management system to capture refinery critical equipment data, and was also the Resale Engineering lead for Mobil Oil’s SAP implementation. In 1999 Mr. Glaeser was hired by Intel Corporation as the Director of Operations and Strategic Planning for the Software Products and Services Division. Mr. Glaeser managed the day-to-day operation of this $44M business, to include all program and project management software development initiatives. He established a Program Management Office and successfully attained CMMI ML 3 accreditation during his tenure. Mr. Glaeser joined CACI in 2004 where he managed the Defense Networks Services Division. As the division Vice President, he supported Department of Defense clients in application development, communication security (COMSEC), satellite communications (SATCOM), enterprise IT networks (EITN), mobile communications, and technical training. His clients included DISA, CSLA, FORSCOM, NETCOM, TRADOC, USARCENT, USARSO, and USARC. Mr. Glaeser's support of application development for the DoD included the JC2CUI program for DISA. In 2012 Mr. Glaeser accepted a position with Microsoft Corporation where he was the Department of Defense Business Development Executive for Microsoft Consulting Services. In addition to supporting numerous cloud initiatives, he successfully led the capture of the largest Microsoft Dynamics AX opportunity in the history of Microsoft with the Army and Air Force Exchange (AAFES) retail point of sale (POS) system. Mr. Glaeser supported multiple programs providing application development for the DoD. In 2014 Mr. Glaeser accepted a position with Akima as President and General Manager of Synteras, a wholly owned subsidiary of Akima. His portfolio included support for Federal Law Enforcement clients, to include a large agile application development effort at for the Drug Enforcement Administration. Mr. Glaeser supported multiple programs providing data analytics for the DOJ, while providing subject matter expertise for several high profile programs. In 2016 Mr. Glaeser founded Spahr Solutions Group as a SDVOSB. As a VA certified SDVOSB, Mr. Glaeser intends to provide systems engineering for the Veterans Affairs in combination with application development and data analytics support. .
